🧘♀️💪The Story Behind Yoga Strong + Your Chance to Learn It

First — thank you to everyone who came out for our Re-Grand Opening Party! It was a huge success. Seeing our community come together reminded me why I created the Yoga Strong method in the first place — and I’d love to share that story with you.
Many of you may not know this, but before Yoga Strong, I spent three years as a CrossFit coach (and many more as a regular person attempting CrossFit).
Don’t get it twisted — I can’t do all the advanced CrossFit movements — but I loved lifting heavy weights, sweating alongside a community of people doing the same killer workout, and watching myself get stronger.

I would post about my workouts on social media, and my yoga students would often comment that they wished they could do that — or worry that I was going to get hurt.
At the same time, many of my yoga students were telling me they wanted to do a push-up, master chaturanga, or play with crow pose — but they just didn’t have the upper-body strength yet.
That’s when it clicked for me: if they started strength training, their yoga would improve… and if they kept doing yoga, their strength training would improve too.
And I wanted to bring that same supportive, high-energy community feel I loved at CrossFit into the yoga space.
I also wanted to do strength work in a space that was beautiful. No shade to CrossFit because it's just part of the culture but it was in an ugly warehouse with no AC and I was getting to the point where I just wanted to be in a more aesthetic space.
So I started experimenting — first with my private clients, integrating light weights and functional strength moves into their yoga practice. They got stronger, felt more supported, and even started nailing their balance poses.
Eventually, I brought this approach to group classes — and Yoga Strong was born.
Now we have multiple teachers teaching the Yoga Strong method and have two ways for you to learn it yourself starting THIS WEEK.
Check them out below and I hope this story inspires you to become YOGA STRONG!
