Level 1 is a great starting point if you are new to yoga. It’s also an excellent choice if you’re looking for an active flow that’s accessible to everyone who is confident coming up and down from the mat. Our instructors fully explain the poses and we offer options for you to dial up the challenge or dial back the intensity, based on what you’re observing in your body in each moment.
These classes give you foundational instructions to poses especially common warm up movements, simple strengthening exercises, and standing poses. We won’t do any complicated shapes or very much weight-bearing in the arms. We build in basic breath techniques, short moments of mindfulness or meditation, and bits of philosophy for a well-rounded practice.
